Phase One of our project kicks off!

I am excited that Phase One of this project if finally kicking off. There was alot of work just leading up to this point and still so much more work to do. Our fundraising campaign is now up on Causes.com and linked to Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation so all donations for this special project can be tax deductible.

I recognize video journaling is not for every one so we are trying to identify the right candidates. If you know someone who may be a great fit for this or just want to share this great project - please forward/share/link to share our site.

We are looking for:

• Kids diagnosed with any type of pediatric cancer

• Kids in current treatment for pediatric cancer

• Siblings who have a sister or a brother in treatment

• Parents who have a child in treatment or diagnosed with cancer

• Advocates for pediatric cancer

• Friends/parents/siblings that have lost a child or loved one to pediatric cancer

• Doctors, researchers, technicians, nurses, therapists doing the boots on the ground work fighting pediatric cancer on all fronts

Participation is really easy. After filling out an application (which we will have up soon) and being accepted to our project, the commitment is only a couple of up to 5 minute videos a month. That's it. We do all the rest. There are some releases participants will need to sign, allowing us to use their video and stories through social media to further spread awareness and ultimately help us find a cure for pediatric cancer.
