We are very excited to announce our first award of a GoPro to Kate Pierson.  More information will be coming soon about Kate, but we are very excited she is willing to share her story with us.  We cannot thank the wonderful Tyler Robinson Foundation enough for suggesting Kate to us, and working with us to help make this project a reality.  Please stay tuned for more updates.

<--- Meet Gavin.  Well I really wish you could.  He is the inspiration for this project.  Please check out his page ipromise15.org to learn more about his story or view this video or this personal blog.  Gavin was a 13 year old neighbor of a very dear friend of mine.  He was a great kid.  I mean he was really great, the kind of kid that was nice to everyone.  Little kids, big kids, adults, he walked into a room and he engaged.  He was definitely special.  His loss (he passed away from brain cancer in 2013) is felt every day.  I look out on our street, a street where kids scream with laughter and dogs bark, and I feel the void he left behind - there is always one laugh missing.  To know a kid like Gavin is to know true happiness.  Why?  Because this kid had IT.  You couldn't help but smile when you would see him.  I can go on and on about Gavin, but what I want you to take away from this is that he inspired me.  He inspired me to do something for him, for all kids really - give them a voice.  And so I made a promise - and this project is one of my ways of keeping it.  Just know - in every effort, every discussion, every film, every entry on this page or through social media Gavin is the driving force and inspiration for what I do.  I have not broken my promise to him.  I never will.  Miss you G.

We have been hard at work launching a few fundraisers, working with other organizations and we have some big news in the works.  We are working on three amazing opportunities for this project.  We can't wait to annouce the details but we promise - we will let you know soon!!!! Keep Checking back!
